Nickname: Cynthia (8 stories)
Cynthia from Seattle, Washington - USA, currently in Seattle, Washington - USA

Hello, I am known as Cynthia. I currently live in the Northwest of the United States of America, Seattle, Washington precisely. I am gradually becoming familiar with all the beauty and abundance of which Australia may have to offer. I wish to share my enthusiasm and some of my more significant introductions to the country. First I had met someone who has become very special to me; a man of great talents, intelligence, wisdom and grace and feel quite fortunate enough to have met such person as Collin. It gets better...In the past year I have found myself falling in love both with him and Australia. Collin and I planned to marry some time in 2009, but rather, during my brief visit this past April of 2008, he surprised me with a sudden proposal that we marry during my holiday; Collin and I were married on the 1st of May. I am looking so forward to living in Australia. I find its people very congenial and enjoy the comfort of their often warm and sunny style much like their sub-tropical climate. Theirs seems a relaxed environment and attitude. Living in endless days of sunshine, strolling a Saturday market, a trip up the blue mountains, a trek out to the outback, a playful afternoon along the seashore or just an evening BBQ with friends, as well as feasting on tropical produce and those goodies of the ocean (that the American northwest may not offer) is a lifestyle that appeals to me very much. I can see there is much about Australia that sets the tone of many legends and mystiques, a place rich with intriguing and exotic cultures, critters and landscapes. The Aborigines is yet another fascinating culture I have yet to explore, among many more interesting facets of Australia. I have been teased with glimpses of the country in travel catalogues and salivate at the prospect and opportunity of becoming Australian, leaving my drenched rain boots behind along with my umbrella. I am now in the process of my spousal visa application, awaiting to be with my husband once again in the beautiful land of Auz - there's no place like home. I welcome any tips or tales one may wish to share. Til then, a lovely day to All--see you soon!
